This project is in a village close to the famous Chitwan National Park in South Nepal and your host Ranjan and his family will introduce and help you.

Nepal faces challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and limited access to healthcare and education, particularly in rural areas. However, there are opportunities to make a positive impact by:

Volunteering tasks in Chitwan can include:

  • Teaching English and other subjects at a village school (grades 1-9).
  • Assisting at a daycare center.
  • Helping develop community-based eco-tourism initiatives.
  • Training local villagers as tour guides.
  • Providing information about healthcare.

Volunteer requirements

âś… Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate in this program
âś… All volunteers must speak good English

Application Process:

  1. Select the right application for you, i.e., Volunteer (Onsite/Online) or Internship, and fill out the application form below.
  2. Tell us what you want to do, your skills, and your interests.
    We will reply with suggestions of what you can work on.
  3. Then, we can schedule a talk online.
    After we have agreed on your project, you will receive a Volunteer/Intern Handbook with teaching, culture, language, and travel advice.
