Volunteer Overseas Free Time in Asia volunteer free time salakaowkoo

The international volunteer normally works 3-4 hours per day and often spend fun and free time with local friends. Volunteer abroad weekends are typically free. International volunteers overseas can arrange for more time off, though placements expect a commitment to your volunteer abroad work. volunteer oversea vacation
International volunteers should try to see more of fascinating and beautiful country they are volunteering in, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal or Laos! We can assist you in finding places to eat, stay and things to do, such as jungle trekking, visits to national parks, historic sites, scuba diving or mountain climbing. Travel is easy and inexpensive but often time consuming. Be patient. You will spend a lot of time waiting! Plan ahead for bus and train trips. You may not be able to get a seat at the last minute.

You may also meet and befriend local people and international volunteers. People may be shy initially (they are often not used to speaking English) but they really like to meet and talk to the international volunteers! As an international volunteer overseas, you get a unique and excellent chance to really get to know the country, its culture and people. This is an opportunity the normal tourist or traveler does not get!

Ask our people and your local friends for tips to go and see places the tourists don’t!

sandra.pngI spent a wonderful, unforgettable time teaching as a volunteer. I learnt a lot about Thai culture and I made many friends with whom I will stay in contact after going back home.
